DIY Hair Mask

My hair has been a little dry lately and I’ve been trying various DIY hair masks and some of them made my hair too oily, some were too sticky and some just really complex! Until I found the perfect combination that works perfectly for me! It’s super easy, take 5 minutes to make and make your hair beautiful and shiny!

To make it all you need is two spoons of honey, 2 spoons of olive oil and 2 spoons of castor oil! Boil those babies for about 2 or 3 min, be super careful not to burn them (or yourself!), leave the mixture until it cools down, apply it to your hair and leave it for about one hour or so, then wash your hair and TADA!

You can just use olive oil and honey if you want but i think that castor oil adds that little something! Besides you can find it everywhere for as cheap as 10 DH's.

Let me know if it works for you as well as it did for me! and if you have other effective mask recipes, please share them with me on the comments below!

  3. Great post! I am obsessed with anything hair related, I even wrote a post about my own hair journey and how I brought it back to health as I had a bad experience with chemical relaxer when I was younger. Now I'm all for natural hair products so I will definitely be trying the ones you've recommended above. xx

  5. Wow! Loads of my friends shell out tonnes of money on expensive morroccan oil hair treatments.

They should all be doing this! Especially as your hair is so very lovely.

Hope you are well, take care :) x

  8. Hello! I love this post. I just dyed my hair for the first time. Ever. Needless to say, it has take on the texture of dried straw, no thanks to this California sun! I will definitely try this and let you know how it goes! Thanks!
