Yoko Sushi

Hello there! Today I’m inviting you guys to diner at yoko sushi!

A friend introduced it to our group of friends not so long ago and it's been one of our favorite spots ever since.

The place is really pretty and it serves good food at a very convenient price in comparison to other sushi places!

The food is great and man did we have a little feast! Now I’m not much of a soup fan but Rabii started with misou soup and seemed to really enjoy it! he even made the cheese pose for me!

 

Ikram and I had fry pizza sushi and some makis. We’re not only best friends but we also have the same taste in food! ( well almost!)

 

The boys went with a sushi selection and Panne poulet Karagui (whatever that means!), however someone was too hungry to wait for me to take a snapsot of the plate, I’m not telling who but his name starts with R.

Some of us went with a mousse chocolat for desert. Others were just to full!

After this lovely meal, we flipped a coin trying to figure out what to do next then settled for a hot tea, said goodnight and went back home.

Did you guys miss me? because I sure did miss you, it's been a while. I know I've been a very bad blogger lately but I'll make it up to you, seriously, I mean it.

So today i'm here to talk to you about this really great place hoping I can bribe you to forget about all this no blog posts thing.

Yesterday I went with a group of friends to this lovely café called Fadeza. The thing about it is that it's high, like literally, It's at the edge of a tiny hill (I like to live dangerously ) and from there you can see the city, the highway and Bouregreg.

The view is absolutely stunning. If you don't blieve me, take a look at it yourself.

 The inside is lovely as well, I didn't take pictures though I was too distracted by this little beauty. If you want to see what it looks like you'll have to get there and see it for yourself! ;)

I want to introduce you today to a brilliant local painter. I first discovered him when I was wondering the streets with a friend in a beautiful spring day, It must be a year from now. Amazed, I marveled at one of his paintings of Bouregreg for a while, before my sweet friend Meriem got me a mini version of it as a gift. It has been hanging in my room ever since.

//Je tiens à vous présenter aujourd'hui un peintre local surprenant. Je l'ai découvert il y'a une année déjà quand je me promenais à Rabat avec une amie un beau jour de printemps. Je suis restée bouche bée devant l'une de ses oeuvres; une magnifique peinture du fleuve Bouregreg. Meriem m'avait acheté une miniature de ce tableau ce jour là, une magnifique petite toile qui embellie ma chambre depuis quelques temps déjà.

Halouane started painting as a little child and never stopped ever since. His paintings are utterly beautiful, they are painted with love and a very meticulous hand. His business partner told me that sometimes, they had a great difficulty selling their artwork because they feel that they are selling a little part of them. Therefore, they prefer to keep them by their side for a little while then gift them to someone they truly care about.

//Halouane a commencé à peindre quand il était un enfant et ne s'est jamais arrêté depuis. Ses peintures sont absolument magnifiques. elles sont peintes soigneusement et avec beaucoup d'amour. Son partenaire m'a dit que parfois ils s'attachaient tellement à leurs œuvres qu'ils n'arrivaient pas à les vendre. Par conséquent, ils en gardent quelques unes pendant un moment et puis les offrent à quelqu'un qu'ils aiment.
